AFC acted as general contractor for Comox A & W’s commercial tenant improvement project, meeting the restaurant’s tight construction timeline.

Restaurant construction poses unique challenges due to rigorous and detailed specifications. This restaurant’s small space added complexity and required job-site adaptability. Different trades need to work in the same space, with work areas overlapping and the one depending on the other to finish their scope.

Scheduling of these types of tenant improvement projects requires attention to the details and regular revisions.

This project also includes a drive thru with vehicle detector loop and speaker post. The design includes A&W brand specific elements, and parts supplied by owner and contractor. Timely and coordinated site delivery was essential to finish the space.
